Add Adjustment-Refund Customer Undesignated Balances
The Refund Customer Undesignated Balances page allows you to return any undesignated (overpayment) balances for the customer.
- See Add an Adjustment for instructions on accessing this page.
- Select a Bank Account from where the refund amount funds are coming.
- Select a check box next to the refund amount you want to include in the adjustment transaction.

Customer Type | Customer type associated with the customer undesignated balance. |
Customer | Customer associated with the undesignated balance. |
Undesignated Balance | Customer’s balance of undesignated funds. |
Refund | Amount to be refunded to the customer. The default is the undesignated balance amount. |
Edit | Clicking the Detail icon allows you to adjust the amount to be refunded to the customer. |
- Click Finish. The Add Adjustment Confirmation page opens, which allows you to view the status of the adjustment transaction.
Edit Refund
The Edit Refund pop-up page, accessed by clicking the Detail icon in the Edit column on the on the Refund Customer Undesignated Balances page, allows authorized users to adjust the amount to be refunded to the customer.
The Undesignated Balance displays the amount of the customer’s undesignated balance. In Refund Amount, type the amount of the customer’s undesignated balance that will be refunded. The default is the amount of the customer’s undesignated refund as displayed in the grid on the Refund Customer Undesignated Balances page. The acceptable range is .01 through <undesignated balance>.
